Boat trips

You can explore the Spreewald by joining a traditional boat trip, by yourself with a canoe or by bicycle. Our harbour at the restaurant "Fischkasten" is the ideal starting point to discover the Spreewald on your own but organized. Our ferrymen are offering individual tours daily to show you this fascinating nature reserve. Enjoy some beautiful hours by listening to the interesting and sometimes funny stories of the ferrymen while gliding along the stunning water channels.

The best tours through the Spreewald:

After arrival at the bus stop in Lübbenau we will give you a warm welcome and invite you to join our Minibus transfer to Lehde. The journey will take about 15 minutes to the "Dolzke Island" where you will be saluted with bread and salt. To get you in the right mood for the daily program we suggest a visit to the cucumber museum first to try our famous specialities, especially the "King Cucumber". Afterwards the ferrymen are inviting you to a traditional boat trip with a table or standard boat. Before departure you have the possibility to buy local products and of course our "King Cucumbers" on the small farmers market directly at the restaurant "Quappenschänke".

Bicycles and canoes are ready for rental – explore the unique "Cucumber bicycle tour" or walk along the beautiful water channels.

We also would like to support you in planning your trips to explore the many sights around. The Schinkel architecture in Straupitz, the Fürst Pückler castle, the Branitz castle in Cottbus or the beautiful cities Dresden and Berlin are waiting for you!
