Cucumber museum

Inside one of the oldest buildings in Lehde, next to our hotel complex, a piece of history brought back to life by Karl-Heinz Starick: the only cucumber museum in Germany. It is a one-off chance to see the traditional way of cultivation and preparation of cucumbers and to try the different tastes.

A highlight of your visit to the cucumber museum is the little cucumber buffet. Here you can taste the different types of our freshly prepared cucumbers. A speciality is our "King cucumber", pickled referring to recipes created by our "Cucumber Queens".
